Before I chose the tag "Flo111" my tag was "Blood" but I changed it when the Bloods street gang came to New York in the mid 90's

Next 2 Blow DVD Cover
The homie Gutterman released several volumes of the underground DVD series Next 2 Blow which is not unlike Smack DVD but better in my opinion. It focused more on unsigned cats who had real talent. This edition was about the whole north vs dirty south comparison which is a common debate in Hiphop. He told me the concept and I came up with this image. A dude holding up two chains: one was designed from Busta Rhymes' Yankee medallion with the Apple behind it, a symbol for NYC. The other is the confederate flag which a lot of southern rappers use to represent their roots in the south. I like this a lot because its a still image yet gives off the feel of a showdown by the almost menacing way he's holding the chains. This is how chains are held up when someone is showing off a hot chain which he robbed a famous person for. This same pose has been done in real life by rappers who paid strong arm robbers to actually rob a rival artist.
The Foundling book cover
Here's the book cover I did for my father's memoir. Fascinating story, extremely inspiring, check it out at Amazon.com , barnes&noble.com , borders.com or authorhouse.com
